Subject Access Requests

Subject Access Requests (SARs) give individuals the legal right to ask for the personal information a school holds about them, under data protection laws such as the UK GDPR. Schools have a legal duty to respond to these requests within one month and to provide the information in a clear and secure way. To make a SAR, a parent, carer, or student simply needs to contact the school—ideally in writing—stating that they are requesting their personal data. The school may ask for proof of identity before processing the request, after which it will gather and share the relevant information while ensuring that the privacy of others is protected.
Please refer to our Subject Access Request Policy.
